This is the best Children's Veterinarian book I have added to my classroom library. The children LOVE this book with its rhyming patterns and very cute and colorful illustrations. They keep coming back to it to read it again and again. The glossary at the end of the book has medical terms and is so handy and useful. Children will learn the important roll Veterinarians play with taking care of pets and in teaching them how to care for their pets. As an animal lover, I'm happy to see this colorful children's book drawing attention to veterinarians and pet care. This sweet book touches on studying to be a vet, what goes on at the vet clinic and the important role veterinarians play in teaching pet owners how to care for their Fido, Polly and Muffy (and one or two more exotic animals, it seems). Wonderful illustrations and a handy glossary with definitions of a few medical terms found in the story.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. What a great addition to my 9 year olds library. The photos are whimsical with a variety of animals. Sure to please any animal lover. The author makes it easy to read and learn some "fancy" words. Great job! I will definately buy more books from this author we love her vision.
